CALL FOR TUTORIAL PROPOSAL
IEEE DySPAN 2008 will include several half-day tutorials covering both technology and policy topics.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Tutorial proposals (3 pages maximum) must include a title, abstract, intended audience, list of topics, and biography of the presenter(s). The preferred format is PDF, but proposals in the form of plain text, Microsoft Word, or Postscript will also be accepted. When preparing your proposal, please use the tutorial form linked from this page in Microsoft Word or PDF format.
REVIEW PROCESS
Tutorial proposals will be evaluated on the basis of their estimated benefit for prospective participants and on their fit within the tutorials program as a whole. Factors to be considered include: relevance, timeliness, importance, and audience appeal; suitability for presentation in a half-day format; and past experience and qualifications of the instructors. Selection is also based on the overall distribution of topics, expected attendance, and specialties of the intended audiences. Thus, not all tutorials of technical merit may be accommodated.
Proposals should be submitted electronically to the Tutorial Co-chairs:
Alexander Wyglinski at alexw@ece.wpi.edu
William Horne at whorne@mitre.org
IMPORTANT DATES
Tutorial Proposals Due: 15 May 2008
